Types of Golf Tees

One can hardly imaging what it would be like to drive off the first hole without a tee.
What could you use to levitate your ball…well…in the olden days they used a little heap of sand but Golf has really developed since those times. In fact, the introduction of the Golf tee was the last major change to the rules of the game.

For those unacquainted with the game, the tee looks like a little spike with a small cup on top in which the ball sits and it raises the ball off the ground thus giving the player a better opportunity of hitting the ball. The tee is normally used for the first shot of each hole and its purpose is to allow the ball to gain extra distance and height.
